Assistant Manager - Coqfighter Soho

Join Coqfighter Soho as an Assistant Manager and play a key role in the day-to-day running of this independent restaurant group. Working closely with the General Manager, you'll lead the team, deliver great service and ensure the restaurant is a place guests want to return to. You'll be a natural leader who leads from the front, brings out the best in others and isn't afraid to get stuck in, taking ownership of shifts and making decisions that keep the restaurant running at its best.

• Lead from the front, setting the tone for great service, positive energy and high standards

• Support the General Manager in running the restaurant, taking ownership of shifts and making things happen

• Build a strong, motivated team where people feel supported, valued and encouraged to do their best

• Keep service running smoothly, even when the pressure is on, and make sure guests always come first

• Coach, train and develop team members, helping them build confidence and grow

• Take responsibility for standards across service, cleanliness, food safety and health & safety

• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues with care, confidence and common sense

• Understand the commercial side of the business, keeping an eye on sales, labour, costs and overall performance

• Lead by example, stay hands-on and be ready to jump in wherever the team needs you

• Bring ideas, initiative and a fresh perspective to help make Coqfighter Soho even better

• Genuine love for hospitality and care about creating memorable guest experiences

• Experience in a busy restaurant environment, ideally in a supervisory or management role

• Confident, hands-on leader who brings people together rather than simply telling them what to do

• Ability to take ownership, make decisions and work independently when needed

• Know how to motivate a team, give constructive feedback and lead by example

• Good understanding of restaurant operations and the importance of commercial performance

• Stay calm, positive and solutions-focused when things get busy
